TBuletooth is a telecommunications
technology that allows computers, mobile phones, PDAs, and
other enabled devices to connect wirelessly over short distances,
and exchange digital information. Bluetooth connections take
place over a 2.4 GHz frequency, and have a range of approximately
10 meters (33 feet).
Ericsson, Intel, Nokia, and Toshiba
jointly developed the Bluetooth technology, and it was first
made available in 2001.
